Insane Musings

A Few Other Interesting Tidbits
Wednesday, December 08, 2004

Extracted from a Los Angeles Times article, a few of these sites are worth visiting:

Common Cause
Their entire front page is dedicated to the voting issue.

The Century Foundation
One article in particular is interesting, where the author talks about reconsidering the conventional wisdom in Ohio.

Also, a revisit of Wikipedia and it's living encyclopedic article on the 2004 U.S. presidential election controversy and irregularities (mentioned in an earlier post). Wikipedia has received a request from Wikipedians to delete the article, essentially, because it has become a forum for personal opinions and is not an encyclopedic entry. Wikipedia has a process for reviewing deletion requests, whereby Wikipedians can vote on whether to keep or delete it. The response to keep it, due to its vast referential and encyclopedic relevance and value, has been overwhelming. If you haven't checked out the entry already, follow the link above - it's good reading.
