The Miami Herald
Nation Briefs
Interesting excerpt:
"One coalition of disgruntled voters and interest groups plans to seek a recount of the vote. Another plans to file a lawsuit with the state Supreme Court today contesting Bush's victory."
Consider me disgruntled - I realize this may be a novel concept to conservatives and Republicans, but disgruntlement is probably a normal reaction when voters may have been disenfranchised.
The Philadelphia Inquirer
Groups still fighting Ohio election results
This site requires registration and login - here's an excerpt:
"Alleging errors and fraud, one group wants a recount, another will sue to overturn. State officials say the critics are tilting at windmills."
The Seattle Post-Intelligencer
Kerry backs recount effort in governor's race
Not about Ohio, but about Kerry releasing funds to help the Democratic gubernatorial candidate - reinforces the "count every vote" theme, no doubt.
The Minneapolis Star-Tribune
David Cobb: Greens had good reason to ask for this recount
By David Cobb himself. A good read.
The Cleveland Plain Dealer
1,665 ballots invalid, Summit board rules
Not bad additions considering my last update was about 12 hours ago... Also, as I'm sure Rotten Denmark points out, the recount and news of recounts made both Hardball and Countdown coverage last night on MSNBC.
Cheers!
